The Parrish Community Bulls volleyball squad (Parrish, FL), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the host Palmetto Tigers (Palmetto, FL)

With the win, Palmetto improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL) to encounter the Mustangs in a 6A District 11 battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 6-2. Lakewood Ranch lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL)

The Bulls now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saint Stephen's Episcopal for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. Parrish Community will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Admiral Farragut (St. Petersburg, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 4-0.
