August 29, 2022: Holly Pond, AL 35083 The Holly Pond Broncos volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting West Point Warriors to 0 in the Broncos non-league victory on Monday.
The Broncos now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southside for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 30. Holly Pond will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Arab (Arab, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-8.
The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Brewer (Somerville, AL). The Patriots enter the 5A Area 15 game with a 13-5 record. In their last game, Brewer gained a win over Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
