In Monday's league battle, the visiting Union County Fightin' Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Lafayette Hornets.

The Fightin' Tigers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Dixie County (Cross City, FL). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Dixie County defeated Taylor County (Perry, FL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Bell Bulldogs (Bell, FL) in a 1A District 6 battle, on Tuesday, August 30. Lafayette will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Trenton (Trenton, FL).
