North Carolina High School Volleyball - Burns edged by Thomas Jefferson
August 29, 2023: Mooresboro, NC 28114 The Thomas Jefferson Gryphons held off the visiting Burns Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Gryphons now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Tech for a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. Thomas Jefferson will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-2.
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Cherryville was nudged by East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
