Oklahoma High School Softball - Wapanucka bounces Bennington
August 29, 2023: Wapanucka, OK 73461 Wapanucka Indians (Wapanucka, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bennington Bears (Bennington, OK), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Savanna for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31. Wapanucka will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Panama (Panama, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-10.
With the loss, Bennington falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Achille (Achille, OK) to battle the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 29. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Achille won 10-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Bennington (Bennington, OK)
