Nebraska High School Volleyball - Hampton edged by McCool Junction
August 29, 2023: McCool Junction, NE 68401 The McCool Junction Mustangs held off the visiting Hampton Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Mustangs now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nebraska Lutheran for a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. McCool Junction will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.
The Hawks (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE). The Eagles enter the Crossroads test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Bruning-Davenport/Shickley held off Sutton (Sutton, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.
