Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A match, on Thursday, August 31. Northwest Guilford will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Whirlies come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
