August 29, 2023: Scio, OR 97374 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Scio Loggers (Scio, OR) and the visiting Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR), saw Scio's volleyball squad beat Santiam by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Scio upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Loggers travel to Corbett (Corbett, OR) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Corbett won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Astoria (Astoria, OR)
The Wolverines now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. Santiam will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
