The Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 5. Carson will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, West Stanly drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 5. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
