North Carolina High School Football - Carson sneaks past Piedmont
September 5, 2024: China Grove, NC 28023 The Carson Cougars football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Piedmont Panthers to 13 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Rowan for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Carson will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 24-0 non-league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Piedmont drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-1. South Iredell won 82-12 in their recent non-league test against Statesville (Statesville, NC)
