North Carolina High School Football - West Davidson tops Ledford
August 29, 2024: Thomasville, NC 27360 The West Davidson Dragons football squad scored 18 points and limited the host Ledford Panthers to 10 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Dragons now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Central Davidson for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. West Davidson will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 48-22 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Ledford drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Wheatmore (Trinity, NC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-0. Wheatmore won 42-0 in their recent non-league test against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC)
