The East Rowan Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Gray Stone Day Knights to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Norman Charter for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. East Rowan will clash with a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Knights record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Gray Stone Day drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 0-3.
