August 29, 2024: Hampton, GA 30228 Bible Baptist Christian Eagles (Hampton, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Oakwood Christian Eagles (Chickamauga, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Bible Baptist Christian moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Appling Christian Academy (Baxley, GA) to meet the Eagles in a GCAA Region II test on Friday, August 30. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-2. Appling Christian Academy lost 8-2 in their recent league test against Byne Christian (Albany, GA)
The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Friendship Christian for a GCAA Region I test on Tuesday, September 3. Oakwood Christian will meet a Spartans team coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Sugar Hill Christian Academy (Sugar Hill, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
