The Rocky River Pirates prevailed the host Buckeye Bucks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH) in a Great Lakes game, on Tuesday, September 3. Rocky River will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Invaders enter the game with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bay (Bay Village, OH).

The Bucks (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Lakewood (Lakewood, OH). The Rangers enter the Great Lakes game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Lakewood gained a win over North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH), 3-2, in a non-league game.
