In Friday's non-league game, the Cambridge Springs Devils (Cambridge Springs, PA) football team overcame the visiting Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), by a tally of 43-18.

In their next game, the Devils battle the Greenville Trojans (Greenville, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 outing, on Friday, September 5. Cambridge Springs will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 46-13 non-league win over Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA).

With the defeat, Northwestern drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to clash with the Lakers in a District 10 Region 3 outing on Friday, September 5.
