The Union City Bears football team (Union City, PA), was crushed 48-0 in Friday's league bout with the host Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA)

With the win, Northwestern betters its record to 3-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Saegertown (Saegertown, PA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, October 24. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 4-5. Saegertown lost 24-14 in their recent league contest against Cochranton (Cochranton, PA)

Coming up next, the Bears confront the Cambridge Springs Devils (Cambridge Springs, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 24. Union City will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Devils go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 56-6 league win over Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA).
