Iowa High School Football - Colfax-Mingo thwarted by Clarke
August 29, 2025: Osceola, IA 50213 Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA), 42-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Clarke improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to play the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, September 5. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 0-1. Saydel lost 42-21 in their recent non-league match against Central Decatur (Leon, IA)
Coming up next, the Tigerhawks meet the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) in a A District 6 challenge, on Friday, September 5. Colfax-Mingo will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 47-14 non-league win over Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA).
