California High School Football - Corning sneaks past Enterprise

August 29, 2025: Redding, CA 96002

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Corning Cardinals football squad scored a close 42-40 triumph over the Enterprise Hornets.

The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their match against University Prep (Redding, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, University Prep was nudged by Gridley (Gridley, CA), 24-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Hornets meet the Oakland Tech Bulldogs (Oakland, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Enterprise will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 27-8 non-league loss to Miramonte (Orinda, CA).
