The Crandall Pirates football squad scored 37 points and limited the host Mt. Pleasant Tigers to 27 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hallsville for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Crandall will face a Bobcats team coming off a 31-7 non-league loss to Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-1.

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Lindale topped Hallsville (Hallsville, TX), 31-7, in a non-league game.
