In Friday's non-league game, the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) football team were victorious over the visiting University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA), by a tally of 24-6.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Winters Warriors (Winters, CA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 12. Gridley will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
