Mississippi High School Football - North Sunflower Academy crushed by Humphreys Academy
August 29, 2025: Drew, MS 38737 Humphreys Academy Rebels (Belzoni, MS) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host North Sunflower Academy Rebels (Drew, MS), 54-6 in a league battle.
The Rebels (2-0) will now prepare for their match against DeSoto (West Helena, AR). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, DeSoto routed Calhoun Academy (Calhoun City, MS), 36-14, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Rebels confront the Calhoun Academy Cougars (Calhoun City, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. North Sunflower Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 36-14 non-league loss to DeSoto (West Helena, AR).
