Middletown Blue Raiders (Middletown, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Milton Hershey Spartans (Hershey, PA), 22-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Middletown advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Blue Raiders travel to Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA) to play the Blue Devils in a Mid-Penn - Colonial battle on Friday, September 5. The Blue Devils go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Greencastle-Antrim lost 62-6 in their recent league battle against Susquehanna Township (Harrisburg, PA)

The Spartans now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host East Pennsboro for a Mid-Penn - Colonial battle on Friday, September 5. Milton Hershey will play a Panthers team coming off a 16-9 league win over Trinity (Camp Hill, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
