Nebraska High School Football - Tekamah-Herman sneaks past Ponca

August 29, 2025: Tekamah, NE 68061

The Tekamah-Herman Tigers football squad scored 22 points and held the visiting Ponca Indians to 21 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Tigers face the West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Tekamah-Herman will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Cadets enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE).

The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bergan Catholic (Fremont, NE). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Bergan Catholic held off Conestoga (Murray, NE), 42-3, in a non-league challenge.
