In Friday's non-league match, the host Bryan Bears softball team scored a nice 16-2 win over the Omaha North Vikings.

The Bears (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Buena Vista (Omaha, NE). The Bison come into the A District match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Buena Vista notched a victory over Benson (Omaha, NE), 7-4, in a non-league game.

The Vikings now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Omaha South for a A District game on Tuesday, September 2. Omaha North will play a Packers squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Gross Catholic (Omaha, NE). The Packers record now stands at 3-4.
