The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Bismarck Demons (Bismarck, ND) and the host Horace (Horace, ND), saw Bismarck's volleyball squad nudge Horace by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Bismarck improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Demons travel to Fargo North (Fargo, ND) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fargo South for a A - East Region contest on Thursday, September 4.
