August 29, 2025: Garland, TX 75043 Carter-Riverside Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host South Garland Titans (Garland, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Carter-Riverside improves its record to 8-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to South Hills (Fort Worth, TX) to face the Scorpions in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Scorpions go into the test with a record of 4-15. South Hills won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Seguin (Arlington, TX)
The Titans now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Lakeview Centennial for a 6A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, September 2. South Garland will play a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 4-8.
