In Friday's non-league match, the Emmanuel Christian Crusaders (Hartsville, SC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Step of Faith Christian Academy Chargers (Ridgeland, SC), by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Emmanuel Christian improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Crusaders host Maranatha Christian (Florence, SC) to encounter the Bulldogs in a SCACS 2A Region 2-A battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Maranatha Christian won 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Virtus Academy (Florence, SC)
