In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Geffen Academy Bruins volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Malibu Sharks.

The Bruins (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA). The Royals come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, El Camino Real went down by Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Sharks now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Agoura for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Malibu will face a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Royal (Simi Valley, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-0.
