In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hilmar Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the University Prep Panthers.

The Yellowjackets (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocky Mountain (Meridian, ID). The Grizzlies enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Rocky Mountain beat Kuna (Kuna, ID), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Merced Bears (Merced, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 30. University Prep will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Escalon (Escalon, CA).
