September 2, 2025: Hilmar, CA 95324 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA) and the visiting Merced Bears (Merced, CA), observed Hilmar's volleyball squad achieve victory over Merced by a score of 3-1.
With the win, Hilmar improves its record to 13-1 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Centennial (Bakersfield, CA) to encounter the Golden Hawks in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Golden Hawks go into the test with a record of 6-3. Centennial won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Clovis North (Fresno, CA)
The Bears now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Modesto for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Merced will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ceres (Ceres, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-8.
