Texas High School Volleyball - Parkland can't hold off Imperial

In Friday's non-league match, the Imperial Tigers (Imperial, CA) volleyball squad tipped the host Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Imperial improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Argyle (Argyle, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 13-2. Argyle won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Marcus (Flower Mound, TX)

The Matadors now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springstead for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. Parkland will battle a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Memphis East (Memphis, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
