In Friday's non-league match, the Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX) volleyball squad toppled the host St. Andrew's Highlanders (Austin, TX), by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Medina Valley improves its record to 10-12 on the season. The Panthers travel to Memorial (Houston, TX) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 6-6. Memorial won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Johnson (Buda, TX)
