August 30, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15228 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Mt. Lebanon's soccer squad get by Baldwin by a count of 1-0.
The Blue Devils now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Canon-McMillan for a WPIAL AAAA 2 test on Thursday, September 1. Mt. Lebanon will meet a Big Macs squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Peters Township (McMurray, PA). The Big Macs record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Baldwin drops to 2-2 on the season. The Highlanders host Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA) to meet the Panthers in a WPIAL AAAA 2 test on Thursday, September 1. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Upper St. Clair won 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA)
