Missouri High School Softball - Joplin nudges McDonald County
August 30, 2022: Joplin, MO 64804 Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO), 4-3 in a league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cassville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 1.
With the loss, McDonald County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Marshfield (Marshfield, MO) to battle the Bluejays in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 1. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
