Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Blackhawks battle the Wes-Del Warriors (Gaston, IN) in a Mid-Eastern match, on Wednesday, September 6. Cowan will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 9-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN).

With the loss, Monroe Central drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to battle the Golden Falcons in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 5.
