Virginia High School Volleyball - Monacan can't hold off James River Midlothian
August 30, 2023: Midlothian, VA 23113 In Wednesday's league battle, the host James River Midlothian Rapids volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Monacan Chiefs.
The Rapids (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record.
Next, the Chiefs encounter the Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) in a Dominion battle, on Tuesday, September 5. Monacan will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Manchester (Midlothian, VA).
