The Notre Dame (SO) Knights got by the visiting Bishop Diego Cardinals football team by a score of 35-34 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Notre Dame (SO) will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Knights go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 35-6 non-league loss to Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA).

The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Westlake (Westlake Village, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Westlake was edged by Agoura (Agoura, CA), 58-55, in a non-league challenge.
