Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ), 52-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Cactus improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cobras travel to Snowflake (Snowflake, AZ) to play the Lobos in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Lobos go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Snowflake won 47-27 in their recent non-league battle against Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ)

The Vikings now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Apollo for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Sunnyslope will play a Hawks team coming off a 27-20 non-league win over Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
