Fort Worth Christian Cardinals (North Richland Hills, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Covenant Christian Cougars (Colleyville, TX), 63-3 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Fort Worth Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Second Baptist (Houston, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Second Baptist won 19-17 in their recent non-league battle against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL)

The Cougars now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Grace Prep for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Covenant Christian will play a Lions team coming off a 54-42 non-league loss to Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
