In Friday's league match, the visiting Loudoun County Captains football squad scored a close 28-25 triumph over the Woodgrove Wolverines.

The Captains (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Falcons come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Briar Woods was nudged by John Champe (Aldie, VA), 7-6, in a non-league match.
