Pennsylvania High School Football - Walsh Jesuit over McDowell

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Walsh Jesuit Warriors (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) and the host McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA), witnessed Walsh Jesuit's football squad knock off McDowell by a tally of 40-21.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, St. Vincent-St. Mary was toppled by Perry (Massillon, OH), 17-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Trojans battle the Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. McDowell will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 20-14 non-league win over St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH).
