In Friday's league match, the host Pershing County Mustangs football squad scored a decisive 50-0 victory over the North Tahoe Lakers.

The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Incline (Incline Village, NV). The Highlanders enter the 2A Northern match with a 1-0 record.
