In Saturday's league match, the visiting Yerington Lions football squad scored a good 22-0 triumph over the North Tahoe Lakers.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Falcons come into the 2A Northern match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Coral Academy of Science - Reno was beaten by West Wendover (West Wendover, NV), 33-21, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Lakers confront the Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) in a 2A Northern match, on Thursday, September 19.
