West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Polo Panthers (Polo, MO), 35-25 in a non-league battle.

With the win, West Platte advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bluejays host Liberty (Mountain View, MO) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
