Waiakea Warriors (Hilo, HI) fans left the game content Saturday as they observed their football squad top the visiting Pahoa Daggers (Pahoa, HI), 34-24 in a league test.

The Warriors now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kohala for a Big Island II test on Saturday, September 6. Waiakea will meet a Cowboys squad coming off a 36-29 non-league loss to Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona, HI). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Pahoa drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Daggers travel to Ka'u (Pahala, HI) to meet the Trojans in a Big Island II test on Saturday, September 6. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
