The Tyler Knights soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Poca The Dots to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.

The Knights now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Glen for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Tyler will play a Golden Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Poca moves to 0-3 on the season. The The dots host Ripley (Ripley, WV) to face the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 2. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 2-1. Ripley lost 5-1 in their recent non-league game against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV)
