The Tigers now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Center Point-Urbana for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 4. Grinnell will clash with a Stormin' Pointers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Northeast (Goose Lake, IA). The Stormin' Pointers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Carlisle drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Ballard (Huxley, IA) to confront the Bombers in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2.
