Iowa High School Volleyball - Grinnell edged by Fairfield
August 30, 2025: Grinnell, IA 50112 Fairfield Trojans (Fairfield, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball team tip the host Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Bloodhounds come into the Southeast challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Fort Madison was nudged by Quincy (Quincy, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers face the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers (Center Point, IA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Grinnell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Stormin' Pointers come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Northeast (Goose Lake, IA).
