Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) and the host Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV), observed Greenbrier East's volleyball team hold off Shady Spring by a count of 2-1.

The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Oak Hill got by Riverside (Belle, WV), 2-1, in a league battle.
