August 30, 2025: Cerritos, CA 90703 Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Magnolia Sentinels (Anaheim, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Whitney advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Samueli Academy (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Firewolves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Firewolves come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Samueli Academy lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Pacifica Christian (Newport Beach, CA)
Next, the Sentinels play the Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 30. Magnolia will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Esperanza (Anaheim, CA).
